The White Company (TWC) has awarded a five year contract to Wincanton to cover multichannel fulfilment services. The contract comes into immediate operation and includes Wincanton taking over the management of TWC’s existing warehouse in Swan Valley, Northants. This will see c.175 TWC staff members transferring to Wincanton which will be migrating TWC’s central warehousing and distribution operations to its own eFulfilment facility in Rockingham over the next eighteen months.
TWC operates 60 stores in the UK and Ireland and the contract spans replenishment for those stores in addition to the fulfilment of high volume online customer orders.
Wincanton CEO James Wroath said: “This contract with The White Company is a big step forward for Wincanton and a significant milestone for our eFulfilment operations.”
