High performance cycling brand Rapha has posted sales of £48 million for the year to end January 2016. Its multichannel approach is reaping dividends in the UK and international markets. The high ticket brand is supported by a membership programme that includes a magazine, access to clubhouses in various locations as well as direct online and retail sales.
It enjoyed strong growth in the North American market as well as in Asia Pacific which enjoyed a 29 per cent increase and in Europe where it grew sales by 23 per cent. 72 per cent of the business’ overall sales were transacted online.
