All stores have had social distancing signage including floor markers installed together with perspex screens at its checkout tills. Opening hours will be truncated initially, limited placed on the number of shoppers admitted to each store at any one time, and only contactless and other card payments accepted.
“In recent weeks we have taken time to review in great detail how to operate our stores safely in the wake of Covid-19 and we are confident we have put the right measures in place to achieve this,” commented Wickes CEO David Wood.
