Wickes revenues up


Revenues at Wickes & sister brand Toolstation,  which are owned by Travis Perkins,  were up by 8.8 per cent to £1.3 billion for the year to 31st December 2014 with like for like sales up by 7.3 per cent. The business had introduced click & collect services and relaunched its Wickes website during the year and also credited the return of greater consumer confidence to its improved performance. Wiches has 232 UK stores including 4 new ones which opened during the trading year plus 184 Toolstation stores. 

Travis Perkins plans to open a further 30 Toolstation stores this year together with around 8  new Wickes stores.
