WiggleCRC has appointed Will Kernan to lead the recently merged online retailer of cycling and tri sports equipment. He succeeds Stefan Barden as chief executive. Will, has for the past five years been CEO of successful high-growth retailer The White Company. Prior to that, he was COO of New Look having previously held a number of senior roles across the New Look Group including Group Managing Director, Group Trading Director and Group Finance Director. He joins WiggleCRC in March.
WiggleCRC chairman Brian McBride said: “Will brings substantial retail experience and an understanding of strong consumer brands. His track record of growth at The White Company along with his leadership of large-scale businesses will be especially relevant during this next phase of the WiggleCRC growth strategy. The Board thanks Stefan Barden for all he has done over the past three and half years in leading the company from no.2 to no.1 in the industry, and then to a successful merger with CRC. We wish him every success in the future as he goes plural. Stefan passes on a company with an improved market presence, capability and talent pool.”

The company has a very well invested foundation from which to build an even more compelling customer proposition and accelerate its global growth.” WiggleCRC announced a 13 per cent increase in turnover to £360 million for the year ended 31 December 2016.
