The Irish Competition and Consumer Protection Commission has cleared Wolseley’s acquisitions of Heat Merchants and Hevac which bother specialise in heating and plumbing. Heat Merchants operetes from 31 branches across Ireland supported by a central distribution centre in Athlone. The transaction is expected to complete by the end of June ’22.
Wolseley has also apponted Mark Lohan as its managing director for Ireland who will commence in his role on July 15th. He was previously managing director of Brooks which is one of Irland’s leading timber and building supplies businesses.
