Yours Clothing, the plus-size fashion retailer, has purchased a new 142,000 sq. ft. UK headquarters in Peterborough.
Yours Clothing employs more than 1,100 staff and, as one of the largest employers in Peterborough, this investment is part of the business’ ongoing commitment to improving its infrastructure and ensuring a strong platform to deliver its ambitious long-term growth plans for the business.
The new headquarters, which are located at Newcombe House, Bakewell Road, Orton Southgate will continue to house a photography studio, customer services department as well as Yours’ distribution centre all under one roof. Yours Clothing will relocate from its present smaller 85,000 sq.ft. premises, also located nearby in Orton Southgate.
News of the new HQ follows a successful year for Yours Clothing, which operates more than 135 stores across the UK. The business reported strong growth figures for its last financial year, with a 22 per cent rise in revenues to £88.3 million for 12 months to January 2018 (compared to £72.1 million in the previous year). In addition, the company has launched eight country-specific websites and in June 2018, the company’s menswear brand, BadRhino opened its first two standalone UK stores which have been well received.
