Free home delivery for orders over £50 and a £3 delivery charge for smaller orders underpins Aldi’s launch into online wine sales in the UK. A range of just under 100 wines is offered with the delivery service provided by CollectPlus. This move will be followed by an extension into other non-food merchandise categories later this year. Aldi currently has 630 UK stores with others scheduled to open which will take its chain to over 700 outlets.
