The owner of The Original Factory Shop (TOFS) has appointed Deloitte to oversee the sale of the retail chain in the first half of 2020. Duke Street Capital had invested further funds into the retailer earlier this year having closed 32 stores and a distribution centre last year under a CVA which also delivered rent reductions and an improved performance.
The current chain of around 200 stores will be marketed early in 2020 once performance during the peak trading season can be taken into account.
