The festive season is a time for giving and this is certainly the case for big-hearted employees from ArrowXL, the UK’s leading two-person home delivery expert. Colleagues have been collecting food, toiletries, clothes, sleeping bags and other items for The Brick Project, which provides services to people who are homeless, in poverty or facing debt crisis.
A donation table has been set up at ArrowXL’s headquarters in Wigan and the team will transport the vital supplies to the charity’s office just before Christmas. The initiative has been championed by Michelle Roberts, client account advisor at ArrowXL. She said: “It is important that we do not forget those less fortunate than ourselves, especially at Christmas. I want to say a huge thank you to all of my colleagues who have generously donated. The Brick Project is a wonderful charity and we are proud to help at this important time.”
This week, a team of employees from ArrowXL also delivered donations to a food bank in Droitwich, as part of the company’s mission to help those in need during the festive season.
