Consumers using DPD’s parcel shops can now choose to have their parcels delivered to any one of Matalan’s 222 UK stores, providing an extension to DPD’s collection network. Matalan’s chief customer officer Shane Quigley commented “Making life easier for families is at the heart of everything we do and we work tirelessly to introduce new initiatives that do just this. We’re excited to roll out our partnership with DPD in time for the busy Christmas period.”
DPD Pickup is one of the options offered by the parcel courier enabling customers to divert their deliveries to a collection point if they are not going to be home to receive them. Text and email notifications advise customers of imminent deliveries to enable them to provide new instructions when necessary.
