In a new move, Next has opened a 4300 sq.ft. concession within the Surrey Quays branch of Tesco Extra. Next will offer a basic range of clothing for men and women during the trial which could see it extend into other Tesco Extra locations if successful.
Tesco already has other concession arrangements with retailers including Arcadia Group, Dixons Carphone and Holland & Barrett.
This development is seen as growing evidence that more retailers are looking at more cost effective use of selling space and containing costs.
