As part of its plans to expand the capabilities of its eCommerce
website, upscale department store Selfridges will launch an
international delivery option later this year.
Currently, the Selfridges website only accepts orders for
delivery in the UK, but customers can place a telephone order to
the store for overseas delivery. The department store has not
given a date for the launch, and says developments are
“still in the works”.
The news comes at the same time as Selfridges launches its click
and collect service in all four of its UK stores. The service
enables Selfridges customers to place their orders online, every
day until 4pm, and collect the goods the following day.
