Maplin has taken a 1000 sq.ft. store at Glasgow Airport,
which it plans to open on 1st March for a year’s initial trial. The new format
store will host 3 interactive internet hubs offering access to Maplin’s full
range, plus Click and Collect services and feature a tailored product range to
include tablet and telephone accessories, and 3D printers. Maplin has more than
200 stores in the UK and Ireland and employs 2,400 people.
