KPMG has agreed to acquire independent IT consultancy Safira. The acquisition will enable KPMG to offer a full business transformation service to its clients around the world, from strategy development through to implementation of technology and business change. Safira was established 17 years ago, is based in Portugal, and has a team of 180 technology professionals who are widely regarded as the world’s leading provider of IBM’s Business Process Management (BPM) solutions.
This acquisition follows that of Cynergy Systems, a mobility services business company in the US and the expansion of the firm’s data and analytics capability through the acquisition of Link Analytics.
