Electronics and maintenance products distributor
Electrocomponents has signed a number of new global freight contracts to
consolidate its freight spend with fewer carriers and allow a more integrated
approach to servicing its worldwide customer base. Previously,
Electrocomponents had over 60 contracts with more than 20 different freight
providers. It has now changed provider on 11 of these contracts to increase
engagement with global carriers that can provide a complete service.
