Brooklyn, USA based Crafts marketplace business Etsy has acquired a French company called A Little Market which is a similarly operated marketplace which connects producers of handmade goods with buyers in France. Etsy has now been in business for nine years offering small producers a global market for handcrafted goods. Under the terms of the acquisition, A Little Market will continue to be run independently from France by its founders Nicolas Cohen, Nicolas d’Audiffret and Loic Duvernay.
