Recently appointed chief executive of German department store group Karstadt, Eva-Lotta Sjostedt, has resigned the position after just six months in the role. She joined the business which was in turnaround mode and operates 83 stores, from IKEA. Karstadt’s CFO Miguel Muellenbach will act as interim CEO until a replacement for Sjostedt is appointed.
