Turnover for the half-year to 30th September was down 8
percent at jeweller Theo Fennell, to £4.94 million. However, losses narrowed
from more than £1.3 million to £610,000, thanks to “substantial cuts” to
overheads and restructuring of the company. The main focus for the months ahead
is to restore the business to profitability by exploring opportunities in
overseas markets including the Far East, Middle East and Eastern Europe.
Another key area of growth is online sales, which currently represent 14
percent of overall business.
