IKEA which achieved sales of 29.3 billion Euro in the year to 31st August 2014 declared a net profit of 3.3 billion Euro after making provision for staff bonuses. Overall sales for the year had risen by 2.8 per cent whereas net profit rose by just 0.4 per cent. Overall it recorded 716 million store visits and over 1.5 billion visits to its IKEA.com website.
