Weve, which was created as an operator alliance to run mobile display advertising by O2 together with EE and Vodafone, is now wholly owned and operated by O2. O2 says that the move will increase its reach and that it can now target the opted-in database and O2 wifi user base to target over 31 million customers. This it says is the UK’s largest first party mobile data set.
Weve delivers sophisticated communications through its mobile messaging and display platforms via broad, targeted and location-based activity, underpinned by highly regarded data analytics capabilities. Clients include Tesco and Sky as well as a number of key agencies working on behalf of leading consumer brands.
