Experian is being rumoured to be in the running for the acquisition of DunnHumby from Tesco. Having sold its stake in Kruger, the US retailer, Tesco has ensured that DunnHumby is now free to offer its services to the wider US market making it a significantly more attractive proposition. It is understood that Nielsen has also expressed interest for the business which is valued at some £2bn.
