The TJX Companies, Inc., has confirmed that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Trade Secret, an off-price retail fashion, footwear and homewares business which operates 35 stores in Australia. The acquisition of the AUS £164.5 million sales business, when complete, will provide TJX with fast entry into the growing Australian retail market. The transaction is expected to complete by the end of 2015.
