Country lifestyle brand Joules has posted sales of £117
million for the year to the end of May, an increase of 22 per cent over the
previous year. International sales were
up by 65 per cent for the business which sells direct via its own stores and
concessions, online and catalogue channels, in addition to its wholesale
operation. The business, which was founded 25 years ago and began by
selling a small range from stands at country fairs and equestrian events, will have 100 of its own stores by the end
of 2015.
