Boden has posted an increase in its pre-tax profits to £32 million on sales of £280.7 million for the year to 31st December 2014. The business has also confirmed that it will be opening stores in the UK as well as in the USA as rumoured earlier this year. Recently hired product director Matthew Hilgemann is leading an overhaul of Boden ranges and feedback on new ranges from key fashion media reporters has been largely positive. Boden’s websites currently account for 90 per cent of sales with its catalogues and direct mail offers driving a considerable share. Half of all orders currently come from overseas buyers with the French and US markets performing exceptionally well.
