Czech Republic production facility for Spreadshirt

Spreadsheet responded to growing online demand
by opening a new production facility in Krupka, in Ústí nad Labem
Region, a north western region of the Czech Republic. The company’s
sixth production centre joins two others in Europe and three in the
Americas. This worldwide presence means Spreadshirt is able to ship to
nearly 200 countries worldwide.

This
marks another notable milestone in Spreadshirt’s global expansion and
moves them closer toward their ultimate goal − to become a billion
dollar business for publishing ideas on everything the company offers in
less than 60 seconds.

Philip
Rooke, CEO of Spreadshirt says, “Our incredible growth has led to the
need for a new production facility, which is a significant milestone for
us. The steady demand to spread it with Spreadshirt means that we need
more production capacity in Europe. So the factory in Krupuk will make
it easier to respond to demand, give us greater flexibility and make us
more resilient. As Krupka is close to the distribution hub in Dresden,
it fits well into the Spreadshirt set-up.”

The new production facility is also relatively close to the company’s HQ and first production centre in
Leipzig. Krupka will start out with a limited range and produce 2,500
t-shirts, aprons, hoodies and other items a day. During 2016 this will
step up to 5,000 per day and the full range of products and printing
techniques.
