White Company grows profits

The White Company posted sales of £163.8 million for the year to March 28th 2015 with operating profits up by 97 per cent over the previous year, coming in at £12.8 million. In a comment on the results, CEO Will Kernan said that he was proud of the business’ performance in what had been a difficult trading environment. It had reduced its discounting and introduced a revised buying strategy which saw its like-for-like store sales increase by ten per cent and overall sales grow by 13.8 per cent over 2013/14.
