Whistl has appointed home delivery specialist Christine Key to grow its Packets and Parcel division. The carrier currently handles 60m packets and parcels through its Downstream Access operation. The appointment of Key will see it offer a new range of tracked and untracked services that are scalable and flexible to meet the needs of clients whether large multichannel retailers, eBay sellers or small independent boutiques. In addition, Whistl will expand its services into the International arena.
The company is offering a one supplier relationship, along with a single collection for all clients’ items and one integrated IT system which will save management time, effort and be more cost-effective. The process works by combining Whistl’s market-leading DSA operation and then managing delivery through using a range of carefully selected carriers.

Previous roles held by Christine Key within the delivery sector include Sales Director at Yodel / Home Delivery Network, Sales Director DPD/ Geopost UK and Commercial Director at Parcelnet. Key has taken the role of Director Packets & Parcels and has joined the Whistl Executive Board formed following the recent MBO of the company from PostNL.
