High Street TV is one of the UK’s most successful and longest running multi-channel DRTV home shopping channels. Responsible for Zumba in Europe, the Nutribullet and Xhose, a significant 2016 initiative for this pan European direct retailer is to centralise the large amounts of data used by departments within daily operations.
It was decided to leverage the unlimited data hosting capability of OrderActive, its multi-channel order management platform which is central to the omni channel business and part of the MNP modular ActiveSeries Suite. HSTV will centralise all product and customer data for all channels which will help sell more by utilising all available inventory, provide the call centre with
multi-channel customer and order data by leveraging the OMS integrated customer services suite (ICE). The system serves both B2B and B2C channels.
In addition, HSTV has secured the PSMActive platform for 2016 which will streamline and automate processes for product conception, lifecycle, multi-currency purchasing with supplier management, scoring and purchase order tracking. The end result will improve speed to market and merchandising through to profit. HSTV have also invested in the IntraActive intranet platform also part of the ActiveSeries Suite which unlocks the data sharing capability within the business to provide departmental & holistic views in almost any shape or format. Using active directory login setups up areas for engagement. A key deliverable is to enable the sales team to setup promotions in advance and be triggered automatically thus simplifying processes and unlocking promotional potential. With real-time access to the whole ActiveSeries database, IntraActive allows for the quick creation of custom functionality, views and workflows and bringing it all together in the way that the business operates. Other uses of IntraActive includes a rich multi- faceted product search, the ability to fulfil store pickup/click and collect orders, keeping retailers at the forefront of omnichannel thinking and execution.
