Discounter TK Maxx is to open a chain of 35 stores in Australia from next month (April). The move follows its acquisition of the Trade Secret store chain from Gazal Corporation in a deal valued at AUD 80 million. TK Maxx will bring its offering of “off-price” fashion, accessories and homewares into the Australian market where it is well known amongst consumers there who have travelled to the US and UK.
