AO World which operates the AO.com online appliance sales business has raised £50 million via a share placing. The business which has annual sales of more than £600 million is now active in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands, selling a wide range of white goods, home electricals and electronics backed by the sector’s most efficient delivery services.
