After months of pressure, Sir Philip Green has finally made a voluntary contribution of £363 million towards the deficit in the BHS pension fund. The Pensions Regulator will monitor the scheme with members protected by the PPF.
An investigation into the state of the Arcadia pension fund is now on the cards and other retail groups may now also face the scrutiny of their respective pension funds.
