The online beauty and fragrance retailer, allbeauty, achieved record sales over the Black Friday weekend. Recently named Which? 2017 Best Online Shop in the UK for the second year in a row, received 64,000 orders between Black Friday and Cyber Monday and despatched 40 tonnes of luxury fragrance and beauty products.
During peak times, 1,400 orders were packed per hour with fragrances making up 55 per cent of sales – the most popular was Calvin Klein’s Euphoria Eau de Parfum 100ml.There were 10 postal collections per day and purchases were delivered to 46 countries around the world. allbeauty far exceeded its predicted sales and achieved a total revenue of £2.8 million in the UK over the weekend.
Chief operating officer of allbeauty, Janice Mancini, said: “This year’s Black Friday to Cyber Monday was another record-breaking weekend for allbeauty. The season has well and truly started so the challenge now is to keep up the great work by our fantastic team and make sure our customers have a very happy Christmas!”
With an expected annual turnover of £75 million in 2017 allbeauty prides itself on getting products to customers quickly and reliably and providing friendly and helpful customer service.
The website’s overall top selling products are Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour Cream, Hugo Boss Boss Bottled aftershave, Calvin Klein Euphoria perfume and Benefit They’re Real! Lengthening Mascara.
