Hotel Chocolat has transferred its Danish stores to Retail Brands which will expand the chocolate specialist’s activities within Denmark as well as in Finland, Norway and Sweden. The arrangement afford Hotel Chocolat the option of buying back its Scandinavian operations after five years.
Co-founder & CEO Angus Thirlwell said: “In Denmark there is a real reverence for good food, there’s a strong competitive set of chocolate makers.”
