This year Celtic & Co offered 4 stockists of its ethical, sustainable product range the chance to host exclusive pop up shops. The aim was to bring the brand to the customers, giving them the chance to try and buy from the latest collection. Celtic & Co is now on the hunt for more trade contacts to work with.
Pop up shops were successfully hosted by Luigi Fashion Boutique in Surrey, Mademoiselle Mojo in Tiverton, Elliotts of Lymington and Stepping Out in Midhurst. Celtic & Co worked closely with each store owner to plan the space, provide point of sale displays and helped with the marketing of each event by sending email newsletters to existing customers of theirs in each area. Stock was set on a full sale or return agreement, allowing shop owners to stock up with new, and sometimes experimental lines, and only be invoiced for what they sell or retain. A Celtic & Co representative was also present at each store to help with additional customer questions or trade enquiries.
“The Celtic & Co pop up event was great for us at Mademoiselle Mojo as it created a real buzz for customers and for the local town! It introduced new Celtic customers to our business and also helped introduce our customers to Celtic. It was great to be able to offer a wide range of styles to our customers that we otherwise might not have ordered. As a small business, we really appreciate and need that level of trust and support from a supplier. SOR and short ordering is definitely the way forward for small retail businesses.”
Celtic & Co offers retailers a 2.4 mark up across the entire range. There are no minimums and they can replenish stock throughout the season too. Celtic supplies a number of different independent boutiques across the UK and offers a white labelling service.
