The Foschini Group which owns Hobbs, Whistles, Phase Eight and G-Star Raw, has a new CEO from January. Incumbent Meg Lustman is leaving her role to focus on the development of a non-executive portfolio, making way for current Whistles managing director Justin Hampshire to take her place. Helen Williamson, Whistles brand director will become managing director of Whistles. In addition, Simon Pickering, former House of Fraser fashion buying and merchandising director will become managing director of Phase Eight in place of Ben Barnett.
TFG was one of a number of fashion brand owning retailers which lost money when House of Fraser entered administration however it has reported a 2.3 per cent increase in its like-for-like sales for the year.
