During a year in which it opened seven new UK stores, as well as two in the USA, sales at independent maternity and babywear specialist JoJo Maman Bebe reached £67.8 million to June 30th. Online sales had risen by 29 per cent to £24.7 million to account for 36.6 per cent of revenues. Profits also rose to £4.3 million. The business which scooped an armful of trophies at the Direct Commerce Awards in 2017 has been investing in its US expansion and currently operates a total of 90 stores as well as having an increasingly robust online presence.
