Amazon founder & CEO Jeff Bezos has said that he is donating US $10bn to the Bezos Earth Fund which will make grants to scientists and non-profit organisations which are focused on fighting climate change. This comes as Amazon faces mounting criticism – from its workers as well as customers – of its use of fossil fuels to deliver goods to customers and its tardiness in switching to the use of solar panels and renewable energy across its many office and distribution centre facilities.
