Amazon has announced that it is creating 10,000 new permanent jobs in the UK which will bring its total permanent UK headcount to more than 40,000.
Two new fulfilment centres opening in the North East and in the Midlands are being staffed with fulfilment operatives, along with engineering, IT, HR, health and safety and finance professionals across other locations.
The business is also commencing with the recruitment of 20,000 seasonal workers for peak trading.
