Nike has posted an 82 per cent increase in its online sales for Q1 (to August 31st) and says its full-year revenues and profits are expected to come in ahead of budget. The business which has been working to sell a higher percentage of its products direct online to consumers to reduce its dependence on wholesale customers and its own stores is seeing its strategy reap early benefits. During lockdowns across all of its major markets, Nike was fully able to service customers via its global websites and app.
