EKM and Fetchify team up for checkout solution

EKM, an eCommerce platform and Fetchify have formed a partnership, creating an address validation solution at checkout. Fetchify’s Address Auto-Complete is now integrated as the new native solution for the EKM platform and is available to all EKM merchants. It replaces EKM’s own postcode lookup tool, Postcode Ferret.

The collaboration will improve the checkout user experience with search-as-you-type address lookup providing address suggestions from the first letter with Fetchify’s proprietary algorithm. The search tool auto-fills the form once the correct address is selected, reducing overall keystrokes by up to 80 per cent. This speeds customers through checkout, reducing cart abandonment and increasing conversion by up to 40 per cent.

As well as benefitting shoppers with a smoother user experience, Fetchify’s address search tool will also benefit eCommerce businesses. Included in EKM’s extensive native app store, the Fetchify API takes shop owners minutes to install and delivers instant results. This will not only boost conversion rate, it also guarantees accurate and validated customer addresses are captured every time, eliminating failed deliveries caused by data errors. This will be particularly valuable just ahead of Black Friday and the predicted peak festive online shopping trends.

“We work closely with all of our sister companies and it’s always exciting to welcome a new partner to the group and explore new collaborations.” – Russell Jones, CEO of Fetchify

Since it was founded in 2002, EKM has helped over 80,000 UK business owners to open an online shop. Partnership with ClearCourse and Fetchify is the next step in its journey as the UK’s leading eCommerce platform.

“Joining ClearCourse has opened up fantastic new partnerships for us and game changing new capabilities for our clients such as the new address validation tool which will help increase conversion rates and tackle failed deliveries with one simple addition to the checkout.” – Scott Lord, head of marketing at EKM
