Frasers Group has acquired a significant plot of land in Coventry on which it plans to develop a new distribution centre. With an expanding stable of retail brands and the ambition to acquire more as good opportunities arise, the new facility will be needed prior to the business’ lease for its existing Shire Brook HQ coming to an end.
Sales for the half year across the Frasers Group came in at £2.64bn which is 12.7 per cent higher than the same period last year, due in part to the acquisitions it has made. Pre-tax profits were £284.6 million, up by 53 per cent.
