Frasers Group is closing the customer service department at Studio Retail’s Accrington premises in favour of relocating the function to Shirebrook which is some 100 miles away. This would not present a feasible alternative location for current employees.
Affected staff, numbering close to a hundred, are now in consultation with most expected to opt for redundancy on November 26th.
