All Ted Baker stores in the US and Canada are to close, and online fulfilment to both countries will cease with immediate effect. In a court filing, the group cited liquidity constraints, negative cashflows, and working capital issues impacting operations.
A spokesperson from Authentic Brands Group, which owns the Ted Baker brand, has been reported as saying that it remains optimistic about the brand’s future and that it was close to finalising agreements with new partners to operate Ted Baker’s concessions, wholesale distribution and eCommerce businesses.
