Amazon has launched Amazon Seller Wallet GBP for eligible sellers on Amazon.co.uk. The tool sits inside Seller Central. It lets sellers based in the UK or overseas hold funds in pounds sterling, pay UK suppliers directly and transfer money to a UK bank account.
Transfers in pounds to UK bank accounts are free. Sellers can make one-off transfers or set them to run weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
For international transfers, sellers can convert their proceeds into more than 20 currencies. A volume-based fee applies to these transfers, and it falls as a seller’s business with Amazon grows. Exchange rates and the total cost are shown before a transfer is confirmed. Sellers can also view balances, statements and transfer history in Seller Central to help with cash flow, tax preparation and reconciliation.
Multi-currency wallets
Seller Wallet works separately for GBP, EUR and USD, and eligible sellers can sign up at no cost. Sellers trading in both UK and EU stores can sign up for GBP and EUR wallets together while keeping separate balances.
Seller Wallet first launched in the US store in 2022. In 2025 it expanded to seven European stores for EUR proceeds. Amazon said the GBP wallet completes the set for sellers trading across its UK, EU and US stores.
Manasi Kudtarkar, general manager of Amazon Seller Wallet, said selling in the UK and abroad can make everyday finances more complex. She said Seller Wallet GBP gives sellers more choice over how they manage UK proceeds, from the same place they run their Amazon business.
