Nicholas Bevan, a former mail order manager at Ormskirk-based
Cycle Xpress, pleaded guilty to stealing
£20,258 from the firm over a period of four years, reports
the Ormskirk Advertiser. According to the
newspaper he was given an eight month sentence, suspended for two
years. The stolen funds have also been repaid.
According to the Manchester Evening News, “encouraging
demand” for N Brown Group‘s menswear
ranges, has helped boost sales. N Brown specialises in plus-size
apparel for men and women.
