Further to its
announcement in March this year, San Francisco-based fashion
retailer the Gap has confirmed it will launch ecommerce sites for
customers in Canada and the UK “later this month” and
is in the process of finalising the fulfilment infrastructure
ahead of launch. Further, the company has also expanded
international shipping on its US website to 55 countries,
including Australia, Brazil and Mexico, and by year end will make
online shopping available in up to 65 countries.
