Approximately 62 percent of British adults purchased products
online in 2010 and last year, we spent £50 billion on goods
or travel-or about £1,600 each. The Connected Kingdom, a
report commissioned by Google and carried out by US consultancy
Boston Consulting Group, also says that the UK is a global leader
in ecommerce, with the highest online spending per capita in the
