Tobar saves money with Customer Insight Business


Tobar Group, a wholesale supplier of toys and gifts and the owner of consumer brands Hawkin’s Bazaar, Stocking Fillers and Letterbox, regularly mails around a million customers and
enquirers. To enhance the quality of its database, Tobar partnered with The Customer Insight Business, a division of The Specialist Works.

After applying compression files and hygiene work to remove deceased and goneaway customers, The Customer Insight Business processed and supplied back all the suppressed records that were removed plus a full report detailing each step of the process. In total, 17 percent of the file was suppressed, saving Tobar close to £100,000 by ensuring only the best customer records were
being mailed.
