Coffee and dining brand, Bakers + Baristas, is opening a flagship store in the White Rose Shopping Centre, Leeds, this week.
The move for Bakers + Barista, which operates outlets across the UK and Ireland, builds on the success of its newly renovated outlets in Cribbs Causeway, Bristol and Norwich Chapelfield.
Having acquired the Love Koffee brand in 2018 and its eleven-strong store estate, the firm transitioned these units into the Bakers + Baristas brand last year. As a result, Bakers + Baristas says it has seen “significant uplifts” in sales and a growing following.
Changes made under lockdown are also driving sales growth across the Bakers + Baristas-branded estate, such as the launch of a click and collect service, working with delivery partners such as Deliveroo and Just Eat for home delivery and also the launch of its app to view the menu and order and pay at table.
James Fleming, Group CEO at Bakers + Baristas says: “It may come as a surprise to some to hear that we are opening a new café when the sector is struggling under lockdown. However, we feel optimistic that normality will return soon and confident that our proposition is exciting to customers. Thus, we remain keen expand to new territories when the time is right.”
